The glass in these earrings is 2000 years old. The glass was used in Roman jugs. The pieces are collected in the Negev Desert. They are cut and set in Sterling Silver by fine Israel silversmiths. A protective patina is applied to stabilize the glass.
The colors are amazing and you'll have trouble keeping your eyes off them.
The glass pieces are 1" long and the earrings are 1.5" long including the wires.

Do not get your piece of Roman Glass wet, as the moisture will ruin the aged patina, causing the piece to become discolored.
Clean the sterling silver setting with a dry polishing cloth, being wary as to not touch the piece of Roman Glass.
Keep your Roman Glass piece in either a plastic baggy, or a jewelry box designed to keep silver fresh, to prolong the tarnishing process.
