Great Roman Glass Earrings In Sterling Silver

The glass in these earrings is 2000 years old.                                                                        The glass was used in Roman jugs. The pieces are collected in the Negev Desert. They are cut and set in Sterling Silver by fine Israel silversmiths. A protective patina is applied to stabilize the glass.

The colors are amazing and you'll have trouble keeping your eyes off them.

The glass pieces are 1" long and the earrings are 1.5" long including the wires.

A matching pendant is available.

Roman Glass jewelry is made of 2000-year old glass that has been excavated from sites around present-day Israel and brought back to life as heirloom-quality jewelry. Each piece of Roman Glass jewelry is a unique and distinctive treasure. The glass is set by hand in the finest sterling silver by talented Israeli artisans.

Because Roman Glass is so ancient, each piece varies slightly in texture, color, and overall appearance, making every piece unique and special.

Do not get your piece of Roman Glass wet, as the moisture will ruin the aged patina, causing the piece to become discolored.

Clean the sterling silver setting with a dry polishing cloth, being wary as to not touch the piece of Roman Glass.

Keep your Roman Glass piece in either a plastic baggy, or a jewelry box designed to keep silver fresh, to prolong the tarnishing process.
