We acquire our products from over thirty-five jewelry vendors to bring you fine jewelry that you can wear forever. We have elevated essentials, timeless keepsakes and statement pieces.
How to buy from us?
Well, it’s pretty simple. Order online following the directions on this link right here. If you happen to be in upstate New York, stop in our retail store which is a boutique that also sells women’s clothes and accessories, fashion jewelry and our sterling silver. Our jewelry collection includes one of a kind unique jewelry, semi-precious gems, Roman glass, gold filled and mixed media fashion jewelry. Even our fashion jewelry is mindfully made and curated.

Sterling silver is made to last. Not only is sterling silver more resilient than most other fine metals, it is affordable and relatively easy to maintain. How fast do we ship?
As long as the products are in stock, we ship within twenty-four hours of you placing the order. Shipping time can vary, depending on your location, but usually takes three to four business days within the continental US. Tracking is available.
What is our return policy?
Urban Sterling Silver - Online sales can be returned or exchanged within 30 days.
Silver Parrot - In store sales can be returned or exchanged within 30 days with the receipt.
What types of discounts do we give?
When you sign up for our weekly emails you become a VIP customer. You are immediately given a 15% off coupon that is good for your first purchase. You will also receive notifications of any sales and will periodically receive one time use coupons. All online coupons are also able to be used in store at Silver Parrot. If an item is already on sale, coupons cannot be used on that item. Only one coupon can be used at a time.
How do we ensure that you are getting real sterling silver?
All sterling silver has a stamp of the numbers ‘925’ on the piece. If an item looks silver, but isn’t stamped ‘925’, it is either silver plated or a silver colored metal. Some of our jewelry is made from multiple metals and are usually tagged with the materials used. We sell a small amount of gold with silver, gold filled and gold plated jewelry. Be aware that there are unscrupulous sellers online who claim they are selling sterling silver. If the item isn’t stamped with ‘925’, it isn’t sterling silver.
How do we ensure that our Native American jewelry is genuine?
We buy directly from a vetted Native American source. Our pieces are not mass produced and are stamped with the artist’s hallmark. Some online dealers use the term “Native American” if an item resembles the traditional style. It is not uncommon to see fake stones and fake silver in pieces online. If the piece is mass produced or the price is too good to be true-you are probably looking at fake Native American jewelry.
How do we recommend taking care of your sterling silver jewelry?
When you are done wearing your sterling jewelry, wipe it gently with a silver polishing cloth and then place the jewelry in a closed plastic bag.

Silver Parrot is located in Stuyvesant Plaza, at 1475 Western Avenue in Albany, New York, 12203. It’s a very short distance from the beginning or the end of the Northway (I-87) depending on which direction you are traveling.
